Accustoming to Life in Asia

Jetlag is death. I’ve been tired this entire trip and when I was finally able to sleep I woke up at 6:30 AM because my body still thinks it’s 4:30PM Toronto time. I’ve been awake for 2 hours now and feel pretty good but would like to have slept in. Life is so hard, geez.

It’s sooo cold here. Living in a foreign country is hard for many reasons. One of those reasons: you can’t turn on the heater in your dorm room because you don’t know how to read he remote. I’m going to have to be better prepared for the upcoming nights.

Cheap alcohol. A fellow U of T student bought a 1.5 L bottle of 33% alcohol for less than $5 from a convenience store. All alcohol is pretty cheap here- it’s mind blowing. Some of it is even cheaper than water! Still haven’t found any Four Loko yet.
